UTC ACQUIRES GE SECURITY

During the first quarter of 2010, UTC Fire and Security completed its acquisition of GE Security. UTC is committed to advancing the state-of-the-art in commercial fire detection and electronic security and recognizes the strength of GE Security brands including EST and TruVision. The company will do business as UTC Fire and Security. During the transition and for three to ten years following, the GE mark will remain on some products.
